As temperatures cool and the holiday season approaches, Wake Forest is preparing for one of its most festive stretches of the year. From tree lightings and holiday markets to live music and community gatherings, residents can expect a full calendar of events stretching from Thanksgiving weekend through the start of 2026.
Town leaders say these events not only boost local business but also bring neighbors together during a time when community spirit matters most. “This is when Wake Forest really shines,” a town representative said. “It’s a season where residents, families, and local organizations all contribute to the same goal—celebrating together.”
The downtown area will see the bulk of the activity, with Main Street shops and restaurants dressing up for the season. The town’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department has also released a detailed event guide and a new 2026 community wall calendar, available for free at Town Hall and Joyner Park Community Center.
For residents of the Stonegate Subdivision and greater Wake Forest area, these activities are an easy way to enjoy the season close to home—and a reminder of why the area continues to attract new homeowners year after year.
