In February 2026, Wake Forest homes averaged 60 days on market — up from 42 days the same month a year ago — closed at an average sale price of $626,000, and still landed at 97% of original asking price. The catch? In 56% of those closed sales, the seller paid some form of buyer concession. The market is holding. But it is not the same market it was, and sellers who don't know that going in are the ones paying for it on the back end.
